Graveyard Shift

It's currently 3:50 in the morning and I'm taking a break from my monster report due at 8am. Oh I'll finish it, but not after I pull an all-nighter. And of course I was writing all day Sunday and Monday to finish up my other report and essay due. Anyway I'm almost out of the tunnel.... Most importantly I'm hear to post another Random Chris Fact since Rebecca seems to be starving for one, so here is my relevant random factoid:

Random Fact #37: The longest period of time I have stayed awake was a 35-hour period during the first semester of my junior year here. I pulled an all-nighter working on a spreadsheet for a fluid dynamics project then proceeded to write-up a final group project afterwards. It took me two big projects to stay awake that long and I was even dozing off in the computer lab as I was writing the report. However, this number is nowhere near the periods of time my previous roommate stays awake for while working on architecture. I recall him telling me he had been awake for about a 70-hour period without sleep until he finally passed out on a couch somewhere!

So that is this week's Random Chris Fact. I'll check back later in the week when I'm not passed out.
