I had another post written for today, but I came across this article about sci-fi/fantasy authors writing 6-word stories and couldn’t resist participating. Here’s my attempt at the 6-word novel:

I awoke. The animals were gone.

“I lied. You have a twin.”

The thing about spontaneous combustion is….
