During the last few weeks of school my friend Morgan introduced me to Yahoo's "Launchcast", which essentially internet radio. You can rate the bands and songs that you like and customize your own radio station for free..... or so I thought. I was just informed that my access has just been denied for the rest of the month. After telling so many people about its tremendous up-side, I finally experienced a major down-side. Apparently, usage is limited to only 800 songs/month for 'free' users and this morning I hit song number 800 for July. I only listen to "Launchcast" at work to get me through the day, which means that in 7.5 days I went through 800 songs. In my defense, they count every song they play for you whether you listen to it or not. Seems like I've been rather skip happy these past few days and so now I'm doomed to work in silence for the rest of the month. *Sigh* If only they played more Simon and Garfunkel I wouldn't be in this mess. Though I could always hum to myself....
